FIELD TRIP!!!!

My wife and I have decided to recreate a certain cinematic moment when "Marc and Shara go to White Castle".

She, a California native, has never been and the frozen sliders from Sam's Club (do you have those?) ain't cuttin' it. She needs to experience the real thing... Any other "out of staters" up for a field trip?

Woo Hoo!
We've officially passed the '100' mark for number of people coming to the picnic! So far, that's 41 classmates with their respective guests/family - Veteran's Park in Steger is going to be rockin' out to the 80's!!  (Also, for those inquiring minds: we have 28 for Aurelio's and 34 for JoltNJoe's)
............this is going to be so much fun!

Haven't been to the park in Steger in a long time so i'm not sure what's there but I got a new "bags" (or cornhole) set for X-mas and was planning on bringing it along to the picnic.  Anyone know if they have a volleyball court or net out there.  I got a decent net and ball if it could get some use.   Heck..the right people show up some of us could work out some long dormant agressions...lol.

Bonus: We'll have some fireman/paramedics there for those of us who may not be in the shape we once were in (or believe we are still in)

That's funny Bill

Who's gonna take care of the firemen/paramedics?  Sorry Chris/Phil- I'm right there with you guys!

Bean bags would be cool and Veteran's Park has 2 sand filled volleyball courts with the poles, but I think they stopped replacing the stolen nets a couple years ago...

I believe we better make it like 7 point games at most with a 20 minute break in between...

Indiana Trailblazers

Someone earlier was pondering how many BT grads ended up in Indiana.  I have lived in Ft. Wayne for about 10 years now, after a detour through Minnesota and North Dakota.  I tell ya, nothing beats ND; you can watch your dog run away for three days!

Good to see so many familiar names.  Looking forward to the reunion as well.

Go West.....

Actually...as much as it seems we've spread to Indiana....i'm finding more and more of us out in the Western Burbs. Lockport,Plainfield, Aurora, Crest Hill  We're representin' yo'

I didn't think I could pull that last one off....lol

SENIOR OLYMPICS REVISITED AT PICNIC

I think we should revisit senior olympics at the picnic - fun for grownups and kids too.  However, given my faulty memory, I can't recall all the games.....just the orange pass without the hands, tug of war, 3 legged race, the big wheel race.  Anyone else remember?

And as we have already mentioned, we have enough health staff on hand for any medical emergencies ;)

Name change

Maybe we should call in the 'middle-age' olympics instead???
