You know I'm always behind the camera rather than in front. So, finding photos of myself was hard & made me want to show you my own work, so here's both. The pics of me were taken in the past yr. Including me as Pete Burns on Halloween!!!

Here's my life over these 20 years

At 23 I got on an airplane for the first time in my life & fell in love with traveling. I'm usually going somewhere every few months & for the past several years have gone out of the country about once a year plus many places in the US

Additionally, I've amassed an ENORMOUS body of photography work which I kept to myself until about 2 years ago

Careerwise, I "climbed the corporate ladder" to the postion of Creative Director at a boring company until I was laid off in Feb '05. That was like someone turned a light on... because I was left realizing that my career, the money, the hours, the bullshit was a life spent doing something that meant nothing to me! So I turned back to what I love

I had my first gallery opening that summer, & what an experience it was! To see 20 yrs. of my photos on those gallery walls & then watching people... friends, family, strangers look at my work & be moved by it... even if it was to be moved to displeasure... they were moved. And that inspired me more!

I'm currently working on a photo project that's been in my head for about 10 yrs. & I'd never pulled the trigger on it... until recently. It's gotten bigger than I'd anticipated & I'm looking at a spring debut. If you're interested, let me know & I'll put you on my list

On mundane details, I've lived Chicago since 1990... right in the area that I would sneak off to with Heather Ewers & get grounded when my mom found out I took a train downtown. I have no kids & don't want them. Not married & not rushing off to do that either
